The Standing Single Arm Band Row is a slightly more complex exercise when compared to the seated row. The exercise becomes more complex by challenging one side at a time, in addition to adding the challenge of stability being in a standing position. To complete the exercise:
How to perform the Single Arm Bent Over Dumbbell Row:
1. Set up a resistance band secured to a stable object at roughly navel height, or as close as possible.
2. Grab the band with one hand and stand in a split stance with the opposite foot to the hand holding the band forward and your back heel off the ground.
3. Brace through your core and keep your torso still, draw your shoulder blade back and down and draw you elbow to the back of the room.
4. Control the band back to the start position and repeat the exercise as prescribed.
